This is an exact drop in replacement tube board for most* Fender Blues Jr Guitar amps. This board replaces cream colored board versions A, B, and C. If your amp makes funny popping noises, eats tubes, or suffers from instability, this is for you. So I've been on a quest of sorts for a year now to get my Blues Jr. to sound amazing. I tried a speaker called the Cannibis Rex which is a hemp cone (Should have listened to Joe a few years back when he said "Thats hippie talk for bad tone") I hated that speaker, but thought I should break it in. All you have to do is unsolder the ribbons from the old board, put the hardware on the new board, resolder the ribbons and filaments and you're done. The noise floor on our test amp went way down because of the wound filaments and better routing. This board solves the majority of problems that Blues Juniors usually have.
